Today was fairly standard. I kept to my diet and do not remember a moment where I was craving for any extra food at all. I had two important council meetings which did a good job of passing the time and I am pleased to note that I almost never feel hungry between meals now.

In terms of adjustments I plan on having 4 units of insulin in the morning with breakfast and 11 in the evening to ensure my sugar reading before bed gets into the 7.0 – 8.0 range and the earlier adjustment is to ensure my lunch reading reaches less than 6.0. I adjusted to 32 units of glargine given that I was just over 8.0 and the readings are spot on in the morning when I adjust.

It’s just the tea to night readings that require thought now. The rest is almost second nature.
