I got up this morning and had 2 slices of wholemeal toast. Normally I’d have weetabix but as I had a three hour journey ahead of me I wanted to test my stomach. My sugar reading at lunch was 7.2 which was a little high so I adjusted (or so I thought) to 10.
Setting off for home at 1.10pm I arrived back at 4.10pm. I ate the piece of chicken my sister had cooked for me.
I will return tomorrow to full discipline. My weight is down again but I could have achieved more. It’s about maintaining focus because it’s working.
