Today was a very strange day in many ways which are irrelevant to this health blog but thankfully the readings were stable.
At breakfast I checked in at 5.3 and took four units and checked in at lunch at 5.1. I had taken my Mother for a game of carpet bowls which was something a little different but it also meant about 2500 – 3500 steps of low-impact walking up and down the rink. We played for one hour.
I had a nice lunch, taking 7 units of insulin and then at tea I defrosted a streak which was really nice. Coming in at 7.1 felt good and I had 30 units of glargine before going to bed.
