G-Dog made a very good point the other day about Internet security. His Pokerstars username was garethwitty, which those savvy readers will note bears a striking resemblance to his real name.
My old username also resembled some of my name so I decided to ask stars for a change. I also wanted to change my avatar, something Stars seem to want to restrict so I asked them via email on how to do it. Two minutes later, yes TWO minutes later support emailed me back. They said they understood my reasons and they would be happy to accommodate me. They were so fast that I was still playing in a SNG. They were super-quick overall even when I went back later to sort it out. Very impressive considering the gazillion users they have.
My account is now minty4291 so that’s what I’ll be known as from now on. Lol. I hope you like the new Avatar too, a shout out to all 9-Ball fans.
