I have been messing around with Full Tilt Poker’s graphic modifications last night and this morning. Gareth came up with the great idea of making a background image so that people watching our poker videos could see our link all throughout the video.
Here is what I ended up with after much messing around once I got the hand of things.

That was created by taking an outline of the racetrack table which I found online, filling with black in Photoshop and adding the text for the site url as a front layer and then adding a large picture of AQ in black and white and reducing the opacity and sending that layer to the back. I overwrote one of the background images for a theme already set up in Full Tilt in the program files and added a transparent .svg image where the table is normally placed so that no table overlay of Full Tilt is placed over my background image, otherwise you could not see the black table.
The cards are a free mod from Tiltbuster.com which looks really good I think although I have to learn what suit relates to what colour because saying “a red flush draw” is not really good for poker videos!
A few more tweaks and it will be ready for future video recordings! Those tweaks are adding a radio logo to where the rack of chips are usually visible and pushing the www.itsawinner.co.uk text just a fraction down from where it currently is.

I’m one for saying not to tamper with things that don’t need changing. The new graphics update is going to take some getting used to, though i’m sure i will. It’s not that it’s over complicated, it’s to do with comfort.
I did well in full tilt, and when you play, you concentrate, the sudden changin in background will affect me slightly, oh well, play on.
